Delete your account

Lumina is an AI flashcard app operated by Varshith Hegde. You can delete your account at any time. When you do, we remove the personal data and study content listed below from our systems.

Delete in the app (recommended)

1. Open the Lumina app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to Account.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. You will be signed out and cannot recover your decks or progress.

Request by email

If you cannot access the app, email varshithvh@gmail.com from the address linked to your Lumina account. We will verify ownership and delete the account within 30 days.

Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove:

• Your account credentials (email, password hash, Google link)
• Profile information (display name)
• Saved decks, cards, and AI explanations on those cards
• Study progress, ratings, sessions, streaks, and categories
• Generation history tied to your user ID

Data that may be kept

• Analytics. Aggregated Firebase Analytics events may remain in Google's systems for a limited period and are not used to identify you after account deletion.
• Server logs. Short-lived technical logs on our API host (Vercel) may retain your IP or request metadata for up to 30 days for security and debugging, then expire.
• Backups. Encrypted database backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 days before being overwritten.

We do not sell personal information.
